Case study
ProVision Communications
ProVision Communications is the wireless video company based in Bristol. Specialising in state of the art video and wireless technology, the company has established an impressive reputation as a provider of innovative design.
2009 saw the launch of ProVision’s latest development, AXAR 1000, the Home wide HD video over wireless product. The AXAR 1000 Sender and Receiver ensure that HD Quality Video is sustained across various rooms of the home. The pioneering technology enables wireless signal to pass through multiple walls, floors and doors.
As part of its international marketing plan, Much Ado Events joined Provision Communications to assist with preparations of the launch of AXAR 1000 in January 2009 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
With more than four decades of success, the International CES reaches across global markets, connects the industry and enables CE innovations to grow, as the world’s largest consumer technology trade show, CES was the perfect platform to launch AXAR 1000.
The Results
Much Ado assisted in the design of ProVision’s presence at the conference including; liaising with The Venetian Hotel, one of many large venues for the conference, designing and theming two large exhibition suites set to showcase AXAR 1000 in real time, sourcing all audio visual requirements, and inputting into the marketing strategy for the week long launch.
Much Ados’ aim was to ensure that the launch of ProVisions’ product at CES, incorporated style with the ‘WOW’ factor ensuring a wide and attentive audience among pay TV providers for the AXAR 1000, the first of its kind in HD over Wireless video products.
Daivd Smee, Head of Communications at ProVision Commmunications said of the event;
'In the run up to the launch of our new product, AXAR 1000, we needed a safe pair of hands to guarantee everything came together for a successful event. Sarah from Much Ado Events fitted the profile perfectly; with a wealth of experience managing events, she was exactly what we needed for our launch at CES, Las Vegas in January 2009. Sarah has a can-do attitude and throws herself at tasks, leaving no stone unturned. Her confidence and vast events experience allows her to effectively contribute to all event planning and communications issues in a well organised manner. I would definitely recommend Sarah and Much Ado to anyone wishing to outsource event planning, her steadfastness under pressure can be relied upon and we’ll be looking to her for help at future events.'
