Cancer Intelligence
Cancer Intelligence is an online communications agency in Bristol. Through online communications, Cancer Intelligence manage web based content and specialise in virtual and real PR campaigns for charities, not for profit organisations, academic institutions and pharmaceutical companies. Cancer Intelligence is also the sole publisher of ecancermedicalscience, the Journal of the European Institute of Oncology.
ecancermedicalscience aims to improve communications between sub-specialised cancer scientists and clinicians by working interactively and faster. Much Ado Events joined the team at Cancer Intelligence to manage the website content of ecancermedicalscience and design and implement a strong and effective marketing and PR plan. The major thrust of the PR plan was the launch of ecancermedicalscience at the ECCO 14 conference in Barcelona on the 23rd September 2007.
The European Conference held every two years, provides visible evidence of success in translating the latest European cancer research into clinical practice and gathering an audience of over 14,000 delegates. The ECCO conference is a vast platform which brings together all disciplines of cancer care.
Results
Much Ado Events, assisted in the management of ecancermedicalsciences’ presence at the ECCO 14 conference including; design and theming of the stand, audio visual equipment, catering and marketing. Much Ado’s aim was to ensure that the launch of the new online cancer journal unveiled its virtual pages in an effective and stylish way, encouraging delegates at the conference to visits the website and learn more about ecancermedicalscience.
